I have been a visual and performing artist most of my life. As a Native person, I have always used my art to educate and sensitize people to Native American issues and problems.

The Native American flute was recommended to me by a friend, as my musical instrument. He said that I could use it as an extension of my spirit. The flute has allowed me, maybe in a more direct way, to speak about current issues in which my People and I are involved.
